The mobile phone we’re holding here is no ordinary phone. Even in our clutch it feels different. On one side of our hand it feels plastic; on the other side it feels a glass-like sleek and smooth. The world has certainly not seen such an asymmetrical phone but that is what the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is.

When someone (or in this case, a company) creates a thing that is first-of-its-kind, there is no escaping the intense glare and scrutiny. Is the Galaxy Note Edge more than just a prototype? Is it worth to dig a little deeper into your wallet just for that extra bell and whistle? It is revolutionary? Will it change the way we use a mobile phone?
