To the naked eye, it probably looks as though Samsung now has a Galaxy form factor in every size - the flagship Galaxy S4's display is 5-inches, the Galaxy S4 Mini is 4.3-inches, Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch is coming out soon, and so is the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE which is of course 10.1-inches in length. Then there’s the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Galaxy Mega 6.3, and on and on… Aside from inundating the smartphone landscape with affordable Android devices in every conceivable size, is there any method to Samsung's madness? We're not sure, but the recently-introduced Galaxy Note 8.0 is not just another Galaxy phablet. Announced at the Mobile World Congress in February, the 8.0 carries the "Note" branding because it comes equipped with an S-Pen stylus for easy note-taking and some navigational functions. While its physical build quality is sadly similar to most of the Galaxy range, the real appeal of the Note 8.0 should be as an e-reader slate or as a second-screen when lazing on the couch

Then there’s the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Galaxy Mega 6.3, and on and on…
