The Nokia Lumia 1520 runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Black and is powered by Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor with 2GB RAM. It has a 6.0-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixel display. The Nokia Lumia 1520 also comes with a 20.0-megapixel camera that is able to record videos at 1080p. It comes with 16/32GB of built-in storage, and is able to support microSD cards of up to 64GB.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 represents the Finnish smartphone maker’s first true attempt at a phablet, the popular term nowadays for a larger-than-average smartphone.

Phablets are a dime a dozen for Android-running devices, the most popular of the recent models proving to be Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3. The 1520 is the first phablet running Windows Phone that also boasts some of the most stellar hardware, with new software improvements coming from both Nokia and Microsoft.

Originally unveiled back in October at Nokia World in Dubai, the 6-inch device that was codenamed ‘Bandit’ when in development is now available in Malaysia, and we have our first real hands on look at the larger than life Windows Phone.
