The A820 utilizes 2G, 2.5G and 3G technology and operates in most major cities in over 170 countries.

The A820 allows the sending of video postcards using a built-in video camera and supports MSM technology. MSM technology allows you to send audio and video files as attachments to your e-mail. The A820 has Multi-call for conducting a phone call while simultaneously using other applications, such as surfing the Internet. The A820 is also customizable by adding the latest games and applications, supports over 4,000 unique colors, and includes a built-in Bluetooth(tm) interface.

The A820 also includes an MP3 player for downloading all your favorite MP3 music. You can download the lastest MP3 samples for your own personalized ring tones.

A Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver is also included to assist with location-based services. If you´re interested in previewing a movie while finding the nearest movie theatre, the A820 can download movie clips to preview prior to purchasing your ticket. If the movie turns out to be a two thumbs down, you can entertain yourself by sending photos as e-mail attachments to your friends!
